The museum notes that Dr. Nimrod Anderson Ware was serving at the U.S. Consulate in Nagasaki, so the flag went to Japan and back! (No doubt the atomic bomb incinerated that location in 1945.) Chew's shell jacket and sword are in the museum as well. It's a small but interesting museum that also contains the wagon in which John Brown rode to his execution.
