At a 1902 July 4th parade in Abbeville, SC
"Amaziah McGhee was in the front file acting
as Color Guard for another standard as he did
when he lost his leg."
Found that in the Columbia State of July 13, 1902.
I thought he may have been in Orr's 1st Rifles, but
he does not appear in the Service records for that
unit.
