Re: Coffin Flag Inge/Johnston

This is off the top of my head, but I remember seeing this Albert Sydney Johnston coffin flag on display at Beauvoir before the big storm a few years ago. It consisted of a red rectangular field with a blue St. George's Cross spanning the width and breadth of the rectangular field. The 13 stars (as I remember) were displayed on the arms of the blue cross. I don't remember the arms of the blue cross having white edging to offset the blue on red combination.

I would check with the Mississippi SCV and see if that flag still exists in their collections.
