Ran across a thread on the Louisiana In the Civil War board in reference to the flag of the 2nd LA Cavalry being put up for action about a year and a half ago. Don't know who the current owner might be, but the flag is on display at the Texas Civil War Museum in Ft. Worth, TX. The flag is in remarkably fine condition. It must have been captured soon after being issued. I realize Texas isn't Louisiana, but at least it's on display for all to see and share. I'll send Jim a picture I took of it on my visit there in November so he can post it on the board.
