Re: The Flag of the 9th Georgia Infantry

My Great-Great Grandfather Thomas Lightfoot, and his younger Brother Thomas( whom died at Farmvile, I assume from wounds sustained at Sharpsburg). My Great-Great Grandfather Snapp of co. D 32nd Alabama Infantry. It is a GOOD POSIBILITY THAT MY ANCESTORS FOUGHT SIDE BY SIDE AT Cichamuaga, as the 9th was taken by Gen. Longstreet by rail to Chicamauga!!
I am 2nd Lt. Commander of my SCV camp here in Abilene, Tx.
was ignorant of my Confederate Blood until after I was wounded several times overseas and sent stateside! I enlisted in the USAF and was a Loadmaster on C-130's; based at Pope AFB North Carolina. After 1 month I requested and was selected to go to Joint Special Operations Command(JSOC) there at Pope! Sent to RANGER school HALO, Special Ops Diver school, USAF Combat Diver, Air Assault, and ended as an 18delta Special Forces Medic at 1st Special Forces Detachment(D). Living in Texas because I have PTSD and my Dr. Is GREAT!!!
I am BESEECHING ANYBODY WHOM CAN ASSIST ME IN FURTHER RESEARCHING MY GEORGIA ANCESTORS!!!!!
THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS,
SKI
