That list of units matches up pretty closely with some other that I have seen that include the 47th VA. After looking over tons of material from the 47th for the last decade I can tell you that I have never seen anything about the 47th losing it's colors that day. The unit itself went in several directions and was not captured as a whole, and did not surrender until a couple of weeks after the rest of the army. I'm not even sure if the unit was carrying colors that day...I have never found evidence that proved they had colors issued to them after they lost their second set at Weldon RR. Also I have never come across any information about the unit being consolidated with the 50th either.
