John Mosby.. lots of him around here too.. only live about 10 minutes from where he was born and raised... Many of his kin remained here and he frequestly visited here also during the war. You can tell the GF that the mystery of if Mosby ever did actually don a federal uniform to sneek in and out of the Federal lines.... Well a few years ago when they dismantled and moved the older Mosby homeplace, they found a neatly folded Federal Officers Uniform hidden under some floor boards... so kinda makes you wonder...lol.. I also had a couple ancestors that were scouts with Hamptons Legion that worked beside Mosby in mid-late 1862 in Nova.
