I am searching for any photos, images and/or information about the 56th NYNG. Raised in Brooklyn the summer of 1864 the 56th was stationed at Elmira Prison for 90 days before being mustered out.

I had 2 GG Grandfather's in the 56th and at Elmira. 1st LT. Alfred Dickinson and Private Samuel H. Johnson.
