As you are the TN flag expert... I wonder if you can help me with this: I've come across an account by a TN soldier whose unit was moving through SC in March of '65. He records in his diary that after passing through Edgefield, "S Carolina's fair daughters presented our Brigade with a nice banner encircled with evergreens, with the inscription on it 'God is With Us'."

I am still trying to identify the unit, but have it narrowed down to either the 1, 10, or 46 TN (still more work to be done on that)
