Hi Charles,

All of Cleburne's Division got new flags in 1864 before the Atlanta Campaign. I would suspect the flag you are seeking was somewhat similar to the surviving Texas unit flag in some respects. It seems that individual brigades of the division got different guys to do battle honors for them. For example, the Arkansas units of Govan's Brigade used Augustus Larrantree, a sign painter in Little Rock before the war, to do their flags as he was a member of the 2nd Arlansas of the brigade.

Since the 24th/25th Texas flag has yet to be located we cannot tell for certain.
