I'd like to thank all of the participants in our recent discussions. Over the last couple of weeks, I believe this board has been representative of what ALL of the History-Sites.Com message boards "could be", with highly interested and highly qualified experts discussing and testing claims of authenticity for various Civil War relics. Many of you are vexillologists and Civil War historians. I enjoyed seeing Alan Pitts' participation, as I do not believe Alan would call himself a flag expert, but his vast historical knowledge and specifically his unsurpassed understanding of Civil War Alabama names, dates, organizations, etc., certainly added to the quality of the discussions. Of course, Greg Biggs and Ken Legendre are recognized experts on Civil War Flags and Bob Bradley's participation as a professional flag curator and historian was greatly enriching to the discussions. "Ben Ford" had much to offer and it is my hope that from his unique perspective as a well-known dealer in historical artifacts, that he will continue to participate in our discussions.

Thanks again for the high-quality discussions. I hope we see more of this type of high level and informative discussion.
