The 7th Tennessee Cavalry is the sole connection between both of Rucker's commands, the old 6th Brigade and J. J. Neely's Brigade. I mistakenly said otherwise in an earlier post. You've mentioned the flag presented to that regiment in March 1864 which was divided among survivors in May 1865. Any ideas as to the pattern of that flag?
