It is not often that I hear someone make a statement and then ask others
to prove that statements correctness.
What flags did you see these markings on? I'am willing to investigate; but,
there are many 2nd bunting flags at the MOC. Which one?
I take it that the second flag that you saw this on was one that you
previously owned. Again, is there a unit id for this flag? Who owns it
now? Will the new owner allow it to be inspected or back up your claim?
I have never seen or heard of an "inspector's" name being on a flag.
Some commercial manufacturers did indeed place their names on their product.
Could this name be that of one of the former owners of the flag?
Many veterans' names appear on the flags that they saved at the end of the war
and later brought to reunions.
