Casualty analysis by ammunition type

I have compiled a preliminary tally of descriptions of various infantry-fired ammunition that inflicted wounds upon soldiers at Gettysburg, and I would most appreciate feedback from specialists. The terms "conoidal" or "conical" seem to imply a "Minie" ball. A "round" ball and "buckshot" appear to refer to "buck and ball" ammunition. But the terms "ball," "bullet," "missile," or "projectile" seem to be too generic to make a firm determination. What about "musket ball" or "rifle ball"? And what is an "elongated smoothbore ball notched at apex and compressed at base"? Thanks

Ball – 20
Conoidal ball – 57
Conical ball – 1
Conoidal musket ball – 17
Conoidal musket shot – 1
Minie ball - 1
Round musket ball – 1
Round ball - 2
Musket ball - 12
Rifle ball – 1
Buckshot - 6
Elongated smoothbore ball notched at apex and compressed at base – 1
Bullet - 1
Pistol shot – 1
Pistol ball - 3
Missile – 2
Gunshot projectile - 1
