Make sure you are measuring it in the right place. The measurement starts at the front of the breach - not from the back of the frame.

If its a 22inch barrel at /.52cal , then its a M1860. If its a 22inch at .50cal then its a M1860 Alteration.

If its 20inch then its a M1865.
