Is there any reference as to which Missouri state militia or enrolled militia units were issued the Starr. I have a Starr with the name S Cooper & Fillmore Mo marked in the grip. All indications are that the ID fits Sam Cooper who lived in Fillmore and served in the 12th & 5th MSM and the Andrew County Battalion. I would just like to know if any of these units were issued the Starr DA Army.
