Check YOUR Post Office. I'm in a rural area and our mail delivery is far from reliable. I beg my wife to stop paying bills with checks and use the internet. At least your plastic is guaranteed/insured. Make one account for online transactions and keep the balance to a minimum. My Post Office can't even put mail in the correct P.O. box. You can cancel the check and pay 30 bucks for the $50 check. Your decision. Just remember who handles your mail. Another losing Federal Government system. They haven't been able to even break even on expenses for the last 30+ years.
