I discovered this interesting site while checking on Berry Benson. It has pictures and short bios of sharpshooters and some of their officers, on both sides. One was even from the 18th Ga., until he transferred to the Sharpshooter Batallion. His name was Barrett, from Marietta, where I was born and grew up. I went to school with an Allen Barrett.
