Brian, in another posting you mentioned searching for CSRs for individuals at the "big white banner at the top of this page", or something similar. I can find no such banner or link to CSRs. I'm looking for information on Pvt. George W. Cummings or Cummins, Co. E of the 20th AR Infantry. It is my understanding he was either captured at Big Black River or later when Vicksburg capitulated, and that he was sent to the Federal Prison at Fort Delaware in Newcastle, DE. He presumably died there because I can find no reference to his being exchanged with other prisoners in Dec. 1863. Any direction you might provide? Thanks.
