Is anyone aware of any instances of written reports of Army of Occupation Continuing to battle Guerrilla bands and having actual fire fights during reconstruction? I have not read any reports, but several areas of the State the communities have local stories of firefights, specifically Independence, Lawrence and Jackson County.
