Ervin Milton Land Co.H 2nd Ark. Mounted Rifles

Here's a link to his record at the National Archives. https://catalog.archives.gov/id/30093931

Card # 2 says he traveled 300 miles to the point of rendezvous. I'm trying to verify this record is for ERVIN MILTON LAND. He was born in Kentucky (1834-1919) He died in Missouri. His brother, William served in the 17th Indiana Infantry. His brother, John served in the 97th Illinois Infantry. I believe Ervin like his brothers, lived in either Indiana or Illinois in 1860. I know there was Confederate sympathy in the southern parts of these states. Does the 300 miles distance to the rendezvous. point "Crane Creek Missouri" sound about right? Were there other men in this unit from Indiana, Illinois, or Kentucky?

Here's a post-war photo of the brothers. Family tradition says they re-fought the war every 4th of July.
