Thank you for sharing General Joe Johnston’s Report and the praise by General Lee. Even after all the loss and setbacks, the Army was still effective. It definitely reflects well on the quality of the
Men of the Army of The Tennessee. I think if politics and pride had not gotten in the way, and with leadership like Cleburne and Govan at the top, there is not telling what they could have accomplished. It gives me great pride that Arkansas was very important in that Army.
