In looking at his records he doesn’t show a surrender or parole. Last info was in hospital at Graysville, Ga in Aug 1862. Not sure what happened after that. Most of the former 11th Ark men who did not get captured at Island 10:served as company E until about Aug-Sept when they were all transferred back to the 11th, but he doesn’t show up on the rolls on either regiment after Aug 1862....so what info do you have that he did indeed surrender and get a parole?
