I would like to know more about Robert Gray's Civil War battles. He lost his leg during the Civil War but I can't find what units he was in or anything about how he lost his leg. He was born 1840, died 1917, married Martha Teresa Hinkle. He lived in Evening Shade after the war and in 1874 served as treasurer of Sharp County. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
