Cyrus Carlock, 26, 3rd Lieutenant, Company K, 19th (Dockery’s) Arkansas Infantry, enlisted March 8, 1862 in Columbia County, Ark. by Col. Dockery for 12 months, recorded absent, on recruiting service April 30, 1863, no further records

Note, there are no Company K muster rolls found in the records subsequent to April 30 1863, hence, we cannot ascertain his subsequent service. The regiment was then in Camp Big Black [River], Miss

His name does not appear in the index of Vicksburg parolees, not does he appear in the 1870 Federal Census.

His bride, however appears to have been widowed during the war, remarrying in 1865.
