I know most of these comments were from several years ago. But, it seems most are looking for Capt Thomas Jefferson Williams as a Confederate soldier, he was in fact a Union Soldier. His brother William Day Williams was his brother and my my 3rd great grandfather and was killed by confederate solders at home in Arkansas. If I missed a comment stating he was a union soldier then I apologize. Civil War Arkansas: Beyond Battles and Leaders has a chapter of our Williams family.
