Samuel D. Campbell (born 1851 or 1852; died 1927) of Perry County, Arkansas applied for
a Confederate pension from his state. He was buried at Cherry Hill Cemetery in Perry County.

He indicated he was a member of the 24th Georgia Infantry. His name does not appear on 24th GA muster rolls.

Judging by his birth year he would have been quite young during the war.

Has any evidence surfaced confirming Mr. Campbell's service, and which command he served with ?
