Linda, a couple of years back the Arkansas Division SCV raised money for an Arkansas Monument at Franklin, Tennessee. Raising money and getting permission to place a monument on a National Military Park like Sharpsburg/Antietum would be (to say the least) a "monumental" task. But I wonder if that might not be something for the Arkansas Divisions of the SCV and UDC to undertake?

I don't believe that anyone else would be interested in taking on such a task given todays political atmosphere.
