The upshot of all of these contributions have been that since the 1990's the History of the State of Arkansas, and the men who served both North and South, during that period of time, has greatly been rewritten, corrected and better understood as to the impact that the War Between the States had upon even our lives today.

It is sad indeed with this knowledge that some are still rooted in the misconceptions of what we thought we knew and believed, prior to the advent of this board and its postings. History makes so much more sence when we know the true facts. So many new books have been written based upon the information first placed on this very board. I personally am amazed and humbled by how many times I find information that I, Bryan, Anthony, Danny, Jim and all the others who have shared their knowledge on this board have been referenced in those books.
