I don't know if this will help, but the captain's name is actually Washington Greene Bohaning. He died in 1880 and is buried in Owen's Chapel Cemetery in Greene County, Arkansas.

Pvt. Reuben Gramling was killed in action at Kennesaw Mountain, Georgia, on June 21, 1864. He was an original member of Co. D, 5th Arkansas Infantry, and, except for a brief stay in Market Hospital No. 3 at Nashville, Tennessee, in December 1861, he was marked as "present" on all company muster rolls up until his death. Memory C. Gramling was also a member of this company.
