March 10.— The company left Camp Timmons for Yazoo City, taking the steamer Magnolia at Haynes' Landing. Stayed at Yazoo City a short time. Went over half way to Greenwood on the steamer Kennett; was ordered back. The company was put aboard the steamer Mary E. Keene, a cottonclad. Remained on it fifteen days. Was sent then to Fort Barry, above Greenwood.
