Kind of reminds me of Jubal Early's comments about a chaplain who ran in battle..and I am paraphrasing as I can't remember it verbatim, but he saw a chaplain headed to the rear quite rapidly and he shouted "you preach about meeting the the Lord and when you stand a pretty good chance of doing so you turn down the opportunity by running away"
