I suspect that R. H. Middleton's name was left off by mistake. The man was duly enlisted and mustered into service, though, like some other members of the regiment, he doesn't appear on the next muster roll, nearly a year after the first roll. Unless Mr. Price has access to some other records which George and I haven't seen, which I seriously doubt, R. H. Middleton must be assumed to be "missing by accident" from the manuscript. He should have been included.
