Some immediate issues with this soldier are he was a brevet 2nd lieutenant and as such I doubt if he would have been in the enlisted ranks later on. Another issue is according to his Compiled Military Service Records at fold3 on page two he is listed as present for duty in July of 1862 with the 1st Regiment Arkansas Mounted Riflemen with Company G.

Whoever he may turn out to be I'm convinced he was wounded and taken prisoner at the Battle of Shiloh. For right now I'm going to call him James H. Henry with Company F of the 1st Arkansas Infantry unless I can prove otherwise. As we know it was not too terribly uncommon for a Confederate to give Union authorities a false name. While I don't believe this is the case it's always something to consider.
