Yes, sir. I haven't done a whole lot of research on Union regiments, but I know that a few Sharp County men served in the short-lived 4th Arkansas Regiment Mounted Infantry, U.S. Volunteers. This regiment was disbanded not long after it was recruited. Most of the men seem to have been from Independence County, with a few from neighboring counties, including what is now Sharp County.
