I have never been an expert in even the little things that I have looked into, let alone the entire state of Arkansas during the War. My perspective and interest in the 6th Texas and Camp Texas stems only from its involvement around Pine Bluff and southeast Arkansas. I view Southeast Arkansas as the forgotten war in Arkansas and more than enough to consume any study efforts. So I am quite a bit out of my elements when I speak of anything going on around Little Rock, or anywhere else, except in a general reference.
