A very nice lady sent me the following request.....thought I would put it out there for the experts. She has his CSR's etc., just looking for a record of death/interment.

"I need help finding information on my 2nd great grandfather Joshua Stewart. I have records of his civil war activities: Joshua and his 5 brothers enlisted May 8, 1862, with the Arkansas 37th Regiment Co E. He was captured July 4, 1863 at Helena, Arkansas, sent to MP Alton, Illinois July 9, 1863, then to Ft Delaware Feb 29, 1864. Exchanged March 7, 1865 at City Pt, Virginia.
My last census record of Joshua is 1870 living in Jackson, Dallas County, Arkansas, with my great grandmother Laura. In the 1880 census Laura is a widow living in Spring, Jefferson County, Arkansas. I don't know why/when Joshua died and I would so love to find where he is buried. If you have access to any information I would be so appreciative."
