10th Arkansas Inf., 1861

In researching the Confederate deaths at Camp Beauregard in Graves County, Kentucky during the fall and winter of 1861-62, I notice that there seems to be an original one or two first muster rolls for this time period missing for the Tenth Arkansas Infantry, CSA. The Ninth Arkansas, with whom the Tenth was brigaded, during this same time period had several muster rolls that included lots of camp deaths and medical discharges for diseases. Are there any other sources for finding these early deaths in the Tenth as there is relatively few deaths and discharges on the Muster Rolls for this time . I found a record online of a Thomas Allen Mabry that shows his wife filed an approved pension in Arkansas on his service in the Tenth which gave his death as Nov. 18, 1861. The online histories don't seem to recognize that Camp Beauregard was in Graves County and not at Bowling Green in Warren County. Bowen's Brigade, of which the Tenth was part was first attached to Gen. Polk in the Jackson Purchase area of West Kentucky before being moved to Bowling Green under Gen. Johnston around the end of 1861.
