ANNOUNCEMENT: COMING EVENT~ Saturday, November 8, 2014
The Lonoke County Museum will have a fundraiser on Saturday, November 8, beginning at 5:00. It will be combined effort of the Grand Prairie Civil War Round Table and the LCM since most of us are members of both.
We will have beans and cornbread, etc. and while we will be portraying Civil War characters of our area, there will be a certain amount of "hamming it up." The event should wrap up by 7:30 at the latest.
This will serve as our November meeting for the Grand Prairie Civil War Round Table and we do not meet in December.
The cost for the fundraiser is $ 20 per person or $35 for a couple and that can be friends, a married couple, or however, but two anyway. There is limited seating so if a group wishes to attend, be sure to phone 501-676-6750 to reserve tickets.
The LCM truly needs the money since we get no funding from the county or the state. We survive on fund raisers and small donations. Come one, come all.
