Parts of the 10th Illinois did serve in Arkansas especially with Steeles expedition against Little Rock in August of 1863. There is a book out called "The Division" by Tim Burford that would give you some information on this unit. I have been slowly digging up stuff on them and other units that fought in the opening battle for Little Rock in Brownsville, AR.
