R.D., I'm just speculating because I've never came across anything about burials in all of my research, except for reading about burials at DeValls Bluff. I think they were first buried at Austin then moved after the war. I cant imagine them moving bodies around back in those days, it just wasnt practical. The Parsons fellow's death is noted "died in regimental hospital, Austin Ar." If they had the regt.'s hospital at Austin I assume they would have buried them there for convenience. DC
