Our dear friend, Rick Meadows, who was actively involved in so many things regarding
Civil War re-enactment in the state of Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, June 16.
His visitation will be on Tuesday, June 18, from 5:30-7:30 in Cabot at Moore's
Funeral Home. Rick's funeral service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in
Cabot on Wednesday, June 19, beginning at 2:00.
I have been informed by Pris Houchens who spoke with Rick's wife that there
will be a reserved section for those that were his friends through his Civil War activities.
Since Rick was highly regarded in the Civil War circles, I thought there may be someone
out there who would like to know.
I am assuming that the obit will appear in tomorrow Arkansas Democrat- Gazette, so
please read and confirm that what I have shared is 100% correct.
