I've lost my Col. Robert C. Newton's papers. I'm looking for information on him and when he had ties with the 5th Arkansas Cavalry. I know he served over other Arkansas Units, but looking for info on the 5th Arkansas Cavalry. Is there a regimential history on this unit, if so I'M not finding it.
