The only B W Cox in Johnson County in the 1860 census was aged 57 in 1860, so I guess he did not see much active service.

On Fold3 he is incorrectly shown as P W Cox but enlargement of the initial letter shows it to be a B not a P.

Are any other officers shown for his militia company?
