Re: Order of Battle for Little Rock Campaign

Damon

This table of organization is taken from a Wikipedia entry (I Know about Wikipedia). However, it cites as a reference the Book "The Division-Defending Little Rock-August 25th-September 10, 1863."

Because of this citation I am drawing the conclusion that the writer of this article obtain this Table of Organization from "The Division". Again as you will notice the same problem seems to be evident. vethought Gen'l Frost is mentioned as being in command of a Division, His Bigade is not mentioned in the Table. What gives?

Did the writters of the Division mistake Parson's Missouri Brigade for Frost's Missouri Brigade? This has happened before since both brigades contains an 8th and 9th Missouri Infantry (Mitchell's and Clark's as apposed to Burn's and White)
