George,

No one in my family had any information on Ambrose Fair.

Everything I know about him I have pieced together from research. All based on clues given to me by my great uncle Otto during a recorded conversation I had with him in 1987. He was 80 years old. He didn't know who his grand father was only that he was "killed in some war they was having" and that he thought it may have been by bushwakers But his daddy, Joe Right (Joseph Wright)(Joe Wrights Guard?) didn't really know because Joe Right was just a baby at the time.
I suppose that the information that Otto had was from Joe who got it from his Mother (Milly) Who most likely did not know either.

If his record dose not have a "release date" or disposition What could that mean? MIA?
