Ladies and Gentlemen:

Let me start by saying, thank you all for the work you do. I’ve spent the last several days reading this forum, the wealth of information flowing abounds, and amazes me. I humbly ask for your assistance in closing a chapter in my family tree.
I am a direct descendant of Pvt. Ambrose Farr (Fair) I know he gave his life during the War Between the States. I believe it to be at the Battle of Prairie Grove
Here is all the info I have gathered to date.

I can’t find any other mention of “Moore’s” Company or the disposition of that group before or following the battle. All of the names listed are from Madison Co. Were these the conscripts mentioned? Where can one find a list of dead or missing from the Prairie battle?
