I have been reviewing a previous post by John Upton about the CSS Alabama flag on the message board. It appears that I have found another just like it but it is right here in Arkansas. I spoke with flag expert Glen Dedmondt and he confirms it to be an original Confederate Navy flag of the 2nd National Confederate design. It looks identical to the CSS Alabama flag. It is 92'' x 184'' and is in good condition. It is in the collections at the Phillips Co. Museum in Helena and I need some advice on what to do with this thing... the museum does not have much money to get a professional case, etc. Any help would be HIGHLY appreciated.
