Just wanted to remind everyone, that next weekend 12-13th, 2012, Batesville will be having a re-enactment of the Union Invasion of Batesville at Riverside Park. Fighting begins at 2:00pm on both days. Come visit the camps from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.

Activities include:
"Lemonade in the Shade", United Daughters of the Confederacy & Old Independence Regional Museum
Kids can use metal detectors to search for Minie balls
Cannon Demonstration
Talk with re-enactors & learn history...AND MUCH MORE
