Danny Honnoll, native of Jonesboro, will bring the program on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 for the Grand Prairie Civil War Roundtable Meeting. His talk will be on the Battle of Cotton Plant that occurred on July 7, 1862.
Honnoll is President of the Arkansas Civil War Heritage Trails Foundation, Commissioner of the Arkansas Civil War Sesquicentennial Commission, and Commander of the Army of Trans Mississippi Son of Confederate Veterans.
The meeting will be held at 7:00 P.M. at the Lonoke County Museum, 215 S.E. Front Street (Hwy 70) in downtown Lonoke.
The public is invited to attend this FREE event. As always the welcome mat is out and new members are always welcome.
